Getting vaccinated for COVID-19 is an “act of love”, says Pope Francis. The leader of the Catholic Church joins His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, and all other major religious leaders, in encouraging their followers to get vaccinated.
“Getting the vaccines is an act of love”
Getting the vaccines is an act of love. And helping the majority of people to do so, is an act of love. Love for oneself, love for our families and friends, and love for all peoples. Love is also social and political. There is social love and political love, it is universal, always overflowing with small individual gestures capable of transforming and improving societies. Getting vaccinated is a simple yet profound way to care for one another, especially the most vulnerable. I pray to God that each one of us can make his or own small gesture of love. No matter how small, love is always grand. Small gestures for a better future. God Bless you.

All major religious and spiritual teachers agree —get vaccinated
Every major spiritual and religious leader, including The Dalai Lama, Pope Francis, Pope Emeritus Benedict, Chief Rabbi Mervis, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sadhguru, Zara Mohammed, the leader of the British Muslim community, The Sikh Coalition, Churches Together in England, Baba Ramdev, and Dr Deepak Chopra, say that we should get vaccinated.
“According my trusted friend including doctor they suggest I should take this injection. In order to prevent some serious problem. This injection it’s very, very helpful. Very good. So those other patients also you should take this injection for greater benefit. So this very important. So I took that, so I want to share. More people should have courage to take this injection”

I would even argue that I would not follow any ‘guru’ or spiritual teacher who did not advocate getting vaccinated or wearing a mask, to protect oneself and others. See: How to find a guru in the Post-Covid world.
“A life without love is of no account. Don’t ask yourself what kind of love you should seek, spiritual or material, divine or mundane, eastern or western…divisions only lead to more divisions. Love has no labels, no definitions. It is what it is, pure and simple. Love is the water of life. And a lover is a soul of fire! The universe turns differently when fire loves water.”
